EL CIBALO DEL GIRADUUR
Rivoltini Alimentare Dolciaria opens the twenty-seventh edition of the 2024 Cremona Nougat Festival with a bang, presenting the oldest recipe in Cremona’s confectionery tradition, the famous Cibalo, a soft and creamy nougat that was hand-stirred by master nougat makers of the past. For the occasion, the story will be told in the presence of the “Giradur” who cycled through the city streets and villages pulling a cart filled with Cibalo to sell.

NOUGAT INSTALLATION IN THE SHAPE OF PROVOLONE VALPADANA
Can the iconic cheese shape, Provolone Valpadana PDO, a cornerstone product of the region, transition from its traditional saltiness to sweet notes and the aroma of honey? The answer is yes when Rivoltini Alimentare Dolciaria of Vescovato (Cr) is behind the scenes, which, to break every record, will honor the emblem of local PDO excellence by shaping its traditional nougat production into the highly unusual form of a “mandarone” Provolone Valpadana. The creation will come to life and be displayed for the public to admire and photograph, but above all to savor, as at the end of the presentation it will be portioned and distributed to all visitors curious to taste this piece of gastronomic history.
